About Myanmar

Myanmar known as “The Golden Land” is geographically the largest country in Southeast Asia. It is strategically located north of the Andaman Sea and borders the two most populous countries in the world, India and China. Myanmar covers an area of about 676,000 square kilometers with 53 million people.

The main cities of the country include the city of Yangon, its primary trade center and economic hub, the capital and administrative city Nay Pyi Taw and the old kings city of Mandalay.
