Foreign Object Debris Removal Campaign at Yangon International Airport

On January 30, 2026, Yangon International Airport successfully conducted a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Removal Campaign, aiming to enhance aviation safety. The campaign organized by Yangon Aerodrome Co., Ltd., the operator of Yangon International Airport, brought together a total of 215 participants, including 98 staff members from various departments of YACL, government agencies, cargo warehouse personnel, airline stakeholders, ground handlers, and aviation fuel suppliers.

The campaign focused on addressing critical safety hazards through two key initiatives:

• Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Walk
• Wildlife Attractants Reduction

The activities took place along the Services Road and in the adjacent movement area of the Air Cargo Warehouse, contributing to a safer and more secure operational environment at Yangon International Airport.
