ရန်ကုန်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ် (YIA) အား စီမံခန့်ခွဲဝန်ဆောင်မှု ပေးလျှက်ရှိသော Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (YACL) သည် ၎င်း၏ AEP (Airport Emergency Plan) တွင် ပါဝင် ချမှတ်ထားသော စံသတ်မှတ်ချက်များ၏ တစိတ်တပိုင်းဖြစ်သည့် မီးဘေးလုံခြုံရေး ဇာတ်တိုက် လေ့ကျင့်မှုကို ရန်ကုန်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ် Terminal - 1 ၏ မြေအောက်ထပ်တွင် ၂၀၂၂ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ (၁) ရက်နေ့ နေ့လည် (၁) နာရီ (၄၅)မိနစ် တွင်ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်။

အဆိုပါလေ့ကျင့်ခန်းသည် သက်ဆိုင်ရာမှ ချမှတ်ပေးထားသော စံနှုန်းများအတိုင်းလိုက်နာ၍ ပုံမှန်ပြုလုပ် လေ့ကျင့်ဆောင်ရွက်ရသည့် လေ့ကျင့်ခန်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး၊ YACL၏ ရန်ကုန်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ် အသုံးပြုသူ ခရီးသည်များ နှင့် လေဆိပ်အတွင်းရှိ ဝန်ထမ်းများ ဘေးကင်းရေးနှင့် လုံခြုံရေးကို အစဉ် အလေးထားသည့် စံသတ်မှတ်ချက်များနှင့်အညီ လက်တွေ့တွင်လည်း မီးဘေးအန္တရာယ်နှင့် ကြုံတွေ့လာပါက အချိန်တိုအတွင်း ဘေးကင်းရာသို့ ထွက်ခွာနိုင်စေရန် ဇာတ်တိုက်ပေးသည့် လုပ်ဆောင်မှု တစ်ခုပင်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

လေ့ကျင့်မှုကို Terminal-1 ၏ မြေအောက်ထပ် (လေကြောင်းလိုင်းရုံးခန်းများ တည်ရှိရာနေရာ) တွင် မီးလောင်မှုဖြစ်ပွားသည့် အသွင်ကိုဖော်ဆောင်သော ဇာတ်တိုက်လေ့ကျင့်မှု အဖြစ် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ YACL၏ မီးသတ်အဖွဲ့ဝင်များမှလည်း မီးလောင်မှုဖြစ်ပွားရာ နေရာတွင် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသော မီးခိုးများ၊ မီးတောက်များအား မီးသတ်ဆေးဘူးများ၊ မီးသတ်ပိုက်များ အသုံးပြု၍ ငြှိမ်းသတ်ခြင်း၊ မီးလောင်မှု စတင်သည်နှင့်တပြိုင်နက် ထွက်ပေါ်လာသော အရေးပေါ် အချက်ပေးသံများဖြင့် မြေအောက်ထပ်ရှိ လေဆိပ်ဝန်ထမ်းများ၊ လေဆိပ်အသုံးပြုသူများအားလုံးကို ဘေးကင်းရာသို့ စနစ်တကျ ထွက်ခွာစေခြင်း၊ လုံခြုံစိတ်ချရသော စုရပ်နေရာတွင် စုဝေးကာ လက်တွေ့အခြေအနေတွင် လုပ်ဆောင်ရမည့်အချက်များကို သရုပ်ပြသခြင်းများကို ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

လေ့ကျင့်မှုအား မွန်းလွဲ (၂) နာရီ (၁၅) မိနစ်တွင် အောင်မြင်စွာ ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးစီးခဲ့ပါသည်။

Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (YACL), the operator of Yangon International Airport (YIA), conducted the evacuation fire drill exercise as part of the requirements established on the AEP (Airport Emergency Plan) on Wednesday 1st June 2022. The drill was planned/executed in the basement of Terminal1 at 1:45 PM.

YACL’s commitment to the safety and security of its valued passengers and stakeholders is one of the reasons for this drill, followed by the standard and recommended practices to keep all stakeholders updated and engaged in the evacuation process in case of a real fire

The exercise simulated a fire deployed at the T1 basement (airline offices area). The flames and smoke triggered the fire alarm, and staff evacuation of all airport staff/airport users in the basement of the International Terminal occurred. The YACL Firefighters Team, who responded to the fire location, utilized extinguishers, and fire hoses, and at the rendezvous point, explained the precautions to observe while facing a fire situation and promoted some simulations with interaction from the Airline and other entities involved.

The drill was concluded successfully by 2:15 PM.
