Due to security reasons, limited amounts of LAGs are allowed on board. All LAGs must be stored in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml each. Any LAG containers that are larger than 100ml will not be accepted, even if the container is partially filled.

No. Liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs) must be in containers with a maximum capacity of not more than 100ml each, and packed comfortably in a transparent re-sealable bag not exceeding 1-litre. As such, LAGs in containers larger than 100ml will not be accepted, even if the container is only partially filled.

Passengers will be permitted to carry personal medication/injection syringes by presenting their substantiating documents (i.e. medical certificates) when requested.

If your baby is travelling with you, you may bring the expressed breast milk onboard the aircraft. However, if your baby is not travelling with you, we would strongly advise you to store the expressed breast milk into containers not exceeding 100ml. The containers must fit comfortably in a 1-litre re-sealable plastic bag. These personal LAGs items will be discarded if it is not within the permissible capacity. Please note that these personal LAGs items may be subjected to additional checks at the Pre-Board Security Screening Area, prior to boarding the aircraft.

Check-in counters opening time varies among airlines. However, passengers are advised to check in at least 2 hours 30 minutes before scheduled departure time. Please check with your airline for more information.

The check-in baggage allowance varies between airlines. Most airlines will allow up to 20kg of check-in baggage. Please check with your airline for more accurate information.

The carry-on baggage allowance varies among airlines. As a gauge, most airlines will allow up to 7kg for one (1) piece of luggage. Please check with your airline for more accurate information.

A minimum of 6 months’ validity period is required for travellers entering Myanmar.

Foreigners visiting Myanmar can get a Visa by applying through the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Embassy located in your respective country. This may require you to either visit their website for application, or head down personally to the embassy for an appointment. Alternatively, you can apply for e-Visa through this website.

For business travellers, you can apply for Visa upon your arrival at Yangon International Airport.

All foreigners, regardless of country of origin or purpose of visit, must have a Visa upon entry into Myanmar.
However, ordinary passport holders from the following countries are given Visa exemption for 14 days:

All foreigners must declare amounts exceeding US$ 10,000 (or equivalent) on the FED form, which must be submitted to customs upon entering and departing Myanmar. Additionally, all foreign currency declared must be deposited at an authorized dealer bank within 3 months of arrival.
